Course Summary

The course is aimed at those involved with the development of scorecards and focuses on WPS Analytics’ Workbench Workflow perspective functionality. This course provides a set of best practices through Workbench functionality, including data import, the data profiler, data preparation, logistic regression, model evaluation and validation, and data export.

• Explain what a scorecard is and where it can be used.
• Differentiate application and behavioral scorecards.
• Outline the process steps involved when developing a scorecard.
• Explain the weight of evidence and its applicability to the scorecard development.
• Apply WoE transformations using the WoE Transform block.
• Evaluate and validate a logistic regression model using WoE variables.
• Scale a logistic regression created with WoE variables to a scorecard.
• Explain the use of the PSI statistic to monitor scorecards
• Apply the PSI block to monitor a scorecard.
• Explain reject inference and its applicability to the scorecard development.
• Apply reject inference using the Reject Inference block.
