OptiStruct for Acoustic and Vibrational Analysis

Course Outline:

This is an advanced course on the use of OptiStruct for Acoustic and Vibration analysis. This software offers a fluid-structure interface and infinite acoustic response types for FE models. Course participants will focus on the theory and application of frequency and acoustic modeling. In addition, this training will highlight frequency response analysis, transient analysis, and acoustic analysis.

Prerequisites:

HyperMesh Introduction
OptiStruct for Linear Analysis

Goals and Objectives:

  • Setup frequency response analysis
  • Load a transient analysis
  • Select and employ an acoustic analysis
  • Identify the purpose for each NVH post-processing tool
