Course Outline:

Altair HyperMesh is one of the worlds best established, solver independent, Finite Element pre- and post-processor.  This software is used in mechanical engineering and aerospace, as well as the automobile industry. The capability to have interfaces to all important CAD programs and most relevant solvers, HyperMesh is well known to be an all-purpose pre-processor.

Basic knowledge of HyperMesh 

Goals and Objectives:

• Derive midsurfaces from solid geometries
• Create and modify shell meshes
• Describe strategies for successful seam weld modelling
