Course Summary:
This course introduces the co-simulation solution between EDEM and
MotionSolve, which enables engineers to introduce realistic bulk material
loads to their multi-body dynamics simulations.
The EDEM-MotionSolve coupling transfers the granular material loads from EDEM directly into MotionSolve. Then, the loads are used in MotionSolve to calculate the effect on equipment dynamics. The updated dynamics are then passed back to EDEM to provide realistic force feedback throughout the simulation.
Course length:
This is a short
course that comprises two lessons. You will find out how to set-up the
co-simulation between EDEM and MotionSolve and how to review and analyze
your simulation results using tools in the EDEM Analyst.
